Holistic Healing Services for Survivors

At NVIFN, we take an integrative approach to treating survivors of sexual trauma. Through holistic services, we aim to help survivors heal in empowering and nourishing ways. By encouraging survivors to take a lead in their healing process, we can help them reclaim their power and reconnect with their mind, body, & spirit.

Education

NVIFN provides education to nurses and law enforcement on strangulation assessments, DV & IVP assessments, responding to victim-survivors, and more. Additionally, we offer seminars and simulations to the community at schools, offices, and nonprofits.

Forensic Interviews

Our team provides forensic interview services to aid law enforcement in investigations. We offer both adult forensic investigation services and all-age interviewing. For adults, these interviews can be 100% confidential to support survivors whether they do or do not want to report a crime.

Exams

We offer both SANE A and SANE P exams. As Nevada’s first mobile SANE unit, we can take our services anywhere in rural Nevada to meet patients where they’re at and give them quality care, evidence, and support that they may otherwise not be able to receive.

Assessment

We offer assessments for domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and strangulation. Our team partners with law enforcement and advocates to help determine the level of risk for the survivor, help them create a safety plan, and find additional resources.

Advocacy

Using a holistic healing approach, we support survivors during every step of their healing journey. Our services include continued advocacy for survivors to ensure they are safe and have the support they need. We also offer additional education & resources including legal information, consulting, counseling services, and more.

“Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of survivors throughout Nevada.”
